At Healthwatch Calderdale we work on a variety of projects. We respond to feedback from the public to help influence the direction of our work as well as participate in national cooperative work with other organisations. This allows Healthwatch to be reactive and flexible when new problems come up in the community.

Enter and View CRH Discharge Areas Report
As a part of our Enter and View programme, we made three announced visits to the discharge areas at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
We observed the service and engaged with patients and staff members to gather feedback on:
- Patients’ thoughts on hospital discharge
- The discharge areas experience
- What’s working well in the discharge areas
- Any suggested areas for improvements

Enter and View HRI Discharge Lounge Report

Overgate Day Hospice
A team of staff and volunteers from Healthwatch completed an Enter and View visit to Overgate Day Hospice on 18th Septemberber 2019. We visited this service to observe and gather comments on how the services ensures that patients are able to give feedback about the care and treatment they receive and to make choices about their care.
Overgate Hospice
A team of staff and volunteers from Healthwatch completed an Enter and View visit to Overgate Hospice on 4th October 2018. We visited this service to observe and gather comments on how the services ensures that patients are able to give feedback about the care and treatment they receive and to make choices about their care.
Lyndhurst Hospital
A team from Healthwatch Kirklees completed an Enter and View visit to Lyndhurst Hospital on 2nd May 2019. We visited this service to observe and gather comments on how the services ensures that patients are able to give feedback about the care and treatment they receive and to make choices about their care.
