Records not read thoroughly

I have always been happy with the care but following an illness, I have to have regular blood work; each time the blood results came back with 'normal levels' that require no further action. However, because of my condition, these 'normal' results are not 'normal' for me and I have to flag this with the practice every time. And every time I call to tell them the same thing it takes them so long to understand what I am trying to explain. My condition is clearly stated in my notes but this is not picked up.
long wait on phone

Whenever I call there is a long wait for the phone to be answered. During busy periods, flu season etc there should be extra people manning the phones.

frustrating

Every time I come I am seen by a different clinician which is frustrating but I have made my peace with. But what continues to frustrate me is whoever I see seems to know nothing about me our my medical history. I have to prompt them about important information that is in my records and they should be aware of .
delayed referral

The care is usually pretty good but it took 8 months for them to refer by son for allergy tests despite almost fortnightly visits to the practice asking for answers.

I have always been happy with he care but often the admin side of the service feels chaotic. I have been given inconsistent information from the admin team depending on who I speak with and there have been issues with record keeping with letters and information going missing or not being passed on when they said they would.
Disjointed care

I have an ongoing issue that I have seen the GP and the physio for. The two don't seem to communicate or know what each has advised/ prescribed. The care feels disjointed.
Struggle to get an appointment

I feel like I have to beg for an appointment with a GP. Once I see a doctor or nurse the care is always fantastic but getting through the triage system is extremely tough.

I don't use the internet so have to call to make and appointment. The line is always very busy in a morning, by the time I do get through more often than not i am told there are no appointments left.
I once came into the surgery in person as I was feeling very unwell and wanted to ensure I was seen that day so rather than wait on the phone I came down in person.
The person on reception dismissed my concerns and told me there were no appointments and said I was not urgent as I was well enough to travel to the surgery. Less than 48 hours later I was hospitalised with an acute infection.

Still waiting nearly 6 weeks after scan

Still waiting for someone to ring me 6 weeks after having scan contacted surgery 3 times to be told it will be 4 - 6 weeks before an appointment to get results will be 6 week Friday still no appointment or phone call. It's a complete shambles of a surgery that big building is waste of space. Really don't see why anyone has to wait 6 weeks for results when they received the results 8.10.24 it's a joke wish we had a choice of another surgery

Trying to ring here is pointless. They're either in a huge queue as caller number 20 or they cannot take my call. Appointments are weeks and weeks away meantime I cannot get my medication without a review. Terrifying.
