I been with Woodside surgery for along time and it’s got to such a point where I don’t want to talk to the surgery they are so rude it used to a lovely surgery disappointment beyond belief
Very slow to review test results

Told by the hospital after my ultrasound to contact my doctor for the results, still waiting four days later from the surgery receiving the results
Phone system too busy

Ever since the phone system got centralised to one number for all the local surgeries you can not get through unless you sit on hold for upwards of 40 minutes.

Never able to get appointments at mixenden, repeat prescriptions always messed up and today one individual hung up on me so now I've put complaints in and will take them further. Shut down Woodside and let people go to the doctor of their choosing

This practice is very friendly and helpful, they come out and call your name when it's your turn to attend an appointment.

I represent a mental health service user who uses this surgery & the attached pharmacy. They both made multiple repeated mistakes with her weekly medications & blamed each other when contacted. I had to threaten to make a complaint to the CCG before things improved. A conversation with the Practice Manager identified that specialist out patient clinic correspondence was being scanned onto IT system without a Doctor or medical Practitioner reading them.
The issue was finally resolved by moving weekly medicine deliveries to another pharmacy.

I have a learning disability and physical disability so I need a surgery without steps to move about easily.
The reception staff know me well & are happy and helpful.
I need a carer but feel I am spoken to.
I have had to wait sometimes but my carer deals with that.
The nurse is kind.

Denied vaccinations

My children need vaccinations and we have been told to go private at a cost of £500 for the 4 of us! Caritas boothtown say it’s because 5.5 weeks til we go (why tell us to go private?) the vaccinations are required 4 weeks in advance! Disgusted
