Healthwatch Calderdale are recruiting a new Healthwatch Advisor with a focus on delivering advocacy work. We are looking for someone who is keenly interested in helping people to have their say about NHS and social care services, with a key part of this role being to support people whilst they are making complaints about NHS service, through our Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service.

At Healthwatch Calderdale, we encourage all our staff to be involved with the different elements of our work – from supporting the delivery of our advice and information service, to engaging with the public to gather their views on health and social care services, and identifying important issues for Calderdale residents and helping to raise awareness of these.

We are looking to work with someone who is caring, compassionate, a good communicator, a team player, and who is passionate about making sure that people’s views and voices count.

We are interested to receive applications from people who would like to work full time or part time. The minimum number of hours required for the post is 22.5hrs.
