Transforming Care – It’s your health, at family fun day

The Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and Barnsley Learning Disability Partnership Boards invite local people to come along to their ‘It’s My Health Day – Transforming Care’ on Wednesday 25 May for a fun day, including the chance to find out about the local services and support available for people and families.

The day will include lots of information about how to look after yourself in a fun way, as well as chances to have your say on how your local health and social services work.

In particular, people with learning disabilities, their families, friends and carers are being encouraged to attend the event. Meet the team, give us your views and take part in some fun activities.

The event is 10am – 3pm on Wednesday 25 May at The Village Hotel, Capitol Boulevard West, Tingley, Leeds, LS27 0TS. The hotel is just off junction 28 of the M62 on the A650.
