People with Long Covid asked to share views with NHS

March 22, 2021

Members of the public with experience of Long COVID are being asked to share their experiences.

NHS England and NHS Improvement are looking for people to work with them to develop inclusive patient-centred health services for people with Long COVID.

There are several Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Partner roles to apply for if you have experience of long COVID, either personally or as a carer, family member or representative of a peer support group/community group.

More information about the roles, including how to apply, can be found on the NHS England and NHS Improvement website. Please take a look at this and promote these opportunities where you can.

COVID-19 has had a disproportionate impact on many who already face disadvantage and discrimination and PPV Partners are needed to ensure NHSEI hears a wide a range of experiences from all sections of the community.

The NHS says that by working with people with lived experience of Long COVID from diverse demographic backgrounds, it can develop inclusive patient-centred health services for people with Long COVID.

The deadline for applications is 30 April.
