LGBTQ people asked for views on experiences at GP practices in Calderdale

February 5, 2020

Two organisations have joined forces to ask LGBTQ people for their experiences of GP practices in Calderdale.

NHS Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and the Calderdale Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Questioning (LGBTQ) Partnership are reviewing the experiences of LGBTQ people when accessing GP services in the borough.

They say:  “We are interested in finding out about your experience at the GP practice and would like to gather as much information as we can.  This will help us understand what works well and what doesn’t work so well.  This will help us identify if any improvements need to be made.

“Please take 5 minutes to complete this survey.  It is anonymous, which means that we do not know who is completing the survey.  We will just collect all the results so we can get a good picture of LGBTQ people’s experience of accessing the GP services in Calderdale.”

You can find the survey here:  https://www.calderdaleccg.nhs.uk/lbgtq-gp-survey/  and it is running until the 13 March at 12 noon.
