Can never get through by phone.

I am disabled and it kills me to walk right round the back. Can never get an appointment. Won’t let me have access to my medical notes. I am housebound/bedridden and they won’t take prescription orders over the phone. The new system has stopped me using NHS App and also the new system App, both don’t work anymore. Manager never available and doesn’t seem to be able to manage the clinic efficiently and timely. I’ve complained in writing several times, changes nothing. The service offered is diabolical. I know it’s not the reception staffs fault, the orders come from higher up!

Can never get an appointment, try ringing everyday at 8 am constantly get cut over, told to ring later , when you do get through never any appointments, can’t see my own gp , over 2 years had 2 telephone appointments with a locum both her gave a wrong diagnosis, totally inadequate service

I have elderly parents, their access to care is increasingly compromised by very low doctor numbers in this large practice. Permanent medical staffing seems to be an increasing issue, patients have little or no continuity. Very long waits on the phone to the practice are now normal daily practice - 45 mins is common. What are plans to improve service for users? Are staff numbers adequate or safe for the town? No criticism of reception team who do their best to respond to what must be difficult situation to manage.
