Virtually impossible to get an appointment
The Reception staff and the nursing staff are excellent, once you get to see them. However, getting an appointment is ridiculously difficult. One is palmed off with a phone appointment, if one gets through at all, which is useless when it concerns a complaint that need to be actually examined by a doctor. It's certainly useless when the doctor you do speak to assures you they will put in a hospital referral, and then simply fails to do so. And even if they had managed to remember to do it, this is still a waste of resources - it's kicking the can down the road, incurring extra expense for the NHS when a straightforward GP appointment (in real life) would have obviated the need anyway. The appointment situation is not a result of Covid, since these issues seem not to obtain in other nearby locations served by other practices. This is in no way a complaint about the staff at the Health Centre - it's about the way the Centre itself is managed.
