Millreed Lodge Care Home

Iv recently been to visit my sick friend ,who sadly didn’t have long to live , the staff where so friendly and kind , even the cook (carol) was lovely making me drinks and offering me lunch so thoughtful can’t thank them enough

have a relative as a resident for 1 year. It is an older building and can be a bit pungent at times but the staff are superb and I am quite happy with the service provided for my relative.

Visited my grandmother and stood at the door ages waiting to be let in whilst staff were sat opposite smoking, buzzes going off and residents not able to reach bells to call for help. Some staff lovely some rude, went to the kitchen to ask for something and was spoken to very rudely by a dark haired large woman who told me aggressively she was the "cook" Not the cleanest place and staff discussing personal matters in front of residents and lunch time residents complained food cold

Very poor, manager absolutely clueless, carers very good and caring but management more interested in making money. Medication left lying around. Meals very good though.
