Poor administration and inflexible booking

Moved to Calderdale in 2006. My kids could not get into any NHS dental practices. My 4 year old son had two rotten molars removed in hospital because of the waiting times. We got referred to Locala at St John's Health Centre. The dentistry there has been fine but the administration and appointment booking has not been good. They never answer the phone so you always have to leave a message. If you're late for an appointment but still turn up they don't fit you in but re-book you for several weeks ahead. I had one occasion where I got a flat tyre bringing my son to an appointment. I got the impression they didn't believe me when I telephoned to apologise for being late. You do get a reminder phone call for appointments the day before which is good.
