Poor advice and no follow up

I rang for my son who was having bad stomach pains and was told the doctor would call us back. We waited all day but no one called and I ended up taking him to A+E that evening. When we got there and told the consultant his symptoms which were the same as I described to e the receptionist in the morning he told me we should have been advised to go straight to A&E as my son was very unwell.

It was a bit bit rubbish really I was prescribed antacids for a cough I have had for a long time????

Managed to book an appointment the same day

So far I am happy with the treatment I get from this doctor, although he will only prescribe for one month at a time. For the last two appointments I have been able to get an appointment the same day.
